My photographs, reveal through the individual faces and figures the images as I perceived them both during the journey back home and in my studio in hindsite, as a meditation on the "other". My project is also about the extraordinary, widening gap between 'Us' and 'Them', a conflict that I as a person feel deep in my soul. A striking distance that is, after all, only a mental one! |
